International Arts Festival - NZ

Cathy O'Donnell has recently returned from NZ and reports that she had a fabulous time.

"I was overwhelmed by the generosity of the New Zealanders who came to hear me speak and attended my workshops. My exhibition part of the international arts festival, exhibited at Pataka Museum and was very well received, my drawings hung alongside an exhibition from Afghanistan and Africa. Wellington was a busy with a variety of art and performance from 930 artist from 30 countries around the globe and I felt humbled to be part of such a vibrant and dynamic Arts Festival.

I have attached one of the few photos I took, it's not great but I was so busy with my time there I didn't take many snaps."

Me, Myself and I

Our annual A4 self-portrait show is back again! Submissions are open to all current NADC students and staff and close Wednesday 24th March @9am. You can submit as many works as you like - as long as they are A4, portrait format, and on paper (don't forget to put your details on the back!). The show will officially open on Thursday March 25th @ 12noon in the Trapezium Gallery (P-block).

This show is always fabulous, with a huge variety of works filling the walls (last year we had more than 400 submissions!!), so don't be shy, and submit a self-portrait (or two, or ten) to the box in the part-time teacher's office, or (even easier) just give them to one of your class teachers.
